Should children take collagen?

It is normally unnecessary, and we do not suggest children take collagen.  We state on our packaging that it is suitable for 18 years and over.

The natural production of collagen in our body peaks in our early 20s, but by the age of 30 it drops and by 40 the decrease accelerates.  You can preserve and protect collagen levels by eating less sugar, avoid smoking and never get sunburn.
